As the newest switchboard operator, it's your job to answer these mysterious calls, listen to the stories unfolding on the other end of the line, and decide what happens next.

Every Call Is a New Story

Using a standard deck of playing cards and a six-sided die, you'll encounter 52 different callers, each with a unique situation, personality, and reason for reaching the Midnight Exchange.

A roll of the die determines how each call unfolds, but the details are yours to imagine. Perhaps you'll help someone reconnect with a forgotten friend, uncover a peculiar secret, or share a conversation that changes someone's night.

You can write a few sentences about each call or turn your adventures into beautifully detailed journal entries. How much you write is entirely up to you.

Your Career at the Midnight Exchange

Work through five shifts, answering four calls each night. At the end of your workweek, you'll receive a performance review based on how your calls were handled.

Will management be impressed with your unusual talents? Or will they encourage you to improve your connections?

More importantly, will you return for another week?

There's no single mystery to solve and no predetermined ending. You can continue your career for as long as you enjoy, building a personal history filled with memorable callers and unexpected stories.
